Are you suffering from a brain injury? Did you play collegiate sports?

The NCAA has a responsibility to former players suffering from the long-term effects of Traumatic Brain Injuries received while participating in Association-sponsored events.

Brain Injuries and the NFL

In total, the laboratory results found CTE in the brain tissue in 131 out of 165 individuals who, before their death, played football either professionally, semi-professionally, in college, or in high school

Brain injuries in High School Sports

Of those who visit the emergency room after a sports-related head injury, 70.5 percent are young adults, ages 10-19. For males in that range, the most common activity is football while females are most often treated after playing soccer.
