Football participation on the decline due to fears of C.T.E.

C.T.E., or Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, is a neurodegenerative brain disease that occurs as a result of having multiple minor traumatic brain injuries. Forbes reported that for the first time in 30 years, high school sports participation is down. The reason? Parents fear concussions, especially at such a young age.
